Well this turned out to be an incredible, but cold, Friday evening! I was able to cover Kill the Noise and Hot Mess at my favorite venue in Cleveland, the Agora Theater…all in one evening. I have so many memories of shows at the place, and this was just another great one to add to the book.

This was local promoter, Cumulus Entertainment‘s, 1-year anniversary party, and shit do they know how to do it. Extremely loud, yet clear, sound, lasers out the ass, a sold out show, and two big names. Hot Mess, of Columbus, Ohio, came up to co-headline the event, laying down track after track of wobbly grooves. I’ve been following these guys for about a year, and they constantly end up on my Bangers of the Weekend post (though not the one I linked). It was good to finally see them perform and put two faces with the name.

Well, what can I say about Kill the Noise? His music alone is outstanding but to top it off, he’s also one hell of a DJ! I’ve gone to and covered many shows over the course of the past year, and all too often you see a great producer who is a shitty-ass DJ. Most people couldn’t care less, but I’ve noticed. This makes Aaron so, so sad. Alas! This was not the case for Kill the Noise, as he executed smooth transitions that actually flowed nicely, didn’t effect all the things, and managed to keep the crowd at peak bonerness throughout his set (me included). Fucking, great job Kill the Noise! A++++ Would buy from this seller again. Super fast shipping.

Thanks to all the performers and Cumulus Entertainment for putting on this show. It’s so good to see Cleveland have some sort of scene aside from that West 6th awful crap bullshit.
